Have fun with two FREE arts and crafts sessions as part of Dennistoun women’s heritage project with Glasgow Women’s Library. You don’t need any particular skills or experience and all materials (including tea/coffee and biscuits!) are provided.

Exploring Our Living Histories – collage making

18th August 9.30-11.30 am at Culloden Street Hall, 1 Culloden Street , Dennistoun
In this arts and crafts session we will be creatively responding to the age-old question, ‘Who am I?’ Using collage-making, we will explore our personal histories and the legacies we come from, as well as the history-making we are a part of in our daily lives.

A Day in the Life – creative map making and writing

25th August 9.30-11.30 am at Culloden Street Hall, 1 Culloden Street , Dennistoun

In this arts and crafts session, we will be examining the spaces we inhabit by creatively documenting our daily lives on a map of Dennistoun. We’ll have fun writing collective poems in response to some of the common locations on the map.
