manure smell

Where on earth is it coming from? I smelt it the other night as far out as my work (past cineworld) and it got stronger and stronger the closer I got to Dennistoun. Tonight the smell is particularly bad.

That must smell horrible dog walker, but the smell I posted about travels as far as renfield street!

The smell may be coming from the overflowing dog bins in the park at Onslow Sq :)

I smelt it again today when leaving for work about half 11. It most likely is coming from a dump - its not pleasant!

It could be the city dump just down from mount vernon. I used to be able to smell it out past baillieston.

There's no way a sour milk smell would reach the city centre.

It has been there for months now and the only thing i can think of is sour milk/ If you look at the side of the kerb there is always milk lying there

I definitely smelled it on Thursday morning as I was walking along Alexandra parade towards Cumbernauld road.

It was more of a manure smell rather than sewage. Whatever it is, its horrible! Someone in Tesco said it was as if she could taste it, it was that strong. Disgusting!!

It can be smelled up near the brewery also

Could it be the wind direction changed? Dalmarnock sewage works is only a couple of miles away.

It's particularly strong today. Smells like the country when they're muck spreading but can't think where they are spreading muck near Dennistoun?!

Thank god for this forum, I thought at first I was imagining it, then I thought I had a problem in my kitchen. Would be grateful if there's anyone out there that can enlighten us about the smell thanks
