arts and crafts for under 60 years

hi, i was looking on line for my mum who is 53 and is intrested in arts and crafts in the dennistoun area. she can not participate in any walking groups so we looked at arts and crafts and wondered wether it is only for over 60 or any one can join.she isnt confident about going out at night so day time activites would be better thanks.
