Green Energy Surveys - doorstep visits
Big Aggie posted on the 3/05/2013 10:06:47 PM
Hi everybody. I live in Onslow Drive and tonight I had two young guys at the door saying they had been speaking to neighbours about free cavity wall insulation and loft insulation under the new ECO scheme. Apparently it would be totally free because this is considered a low income area.
I've tried researching them online and they seem to be a newish firm of surveyors in Glasgow but they have no website which I find a bit odd. I will be talking to the neighbours as I have a feeling a few have actually signed up for this.
Has anyone else in Dennistoun heard of this company or had any visits recently? I can't help finding it all a bit suspicious.
Cheers
Big Aggie

It is a free service whether you have a high or low income. Â Do NOT be talked into any kind of service charges. Â If they try this, contact the Council immediately.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to speak to the neighbours and phone the factor to see if they actually have signed up for this.
