First ever run session Wednesday 08 March 18:30 outside Whitehill Pool. All abilities welcome - this is not a coached session.

Hi there. At the risk of sounding stupid I was wondering what the sessions will involve? I know a triathlon is running, cycling and swimming, so are we actually going to swim so I know what to bring?I may be able to start next week, but I'm unfit at the moment so would have to pace myself x

Come along! Glasgow Urban Triathlon running tonight (Wesnesday 15 May - 18:30 from Whitehill Pool). Free - this is not a coached session.

@ Elle - Sorry I never replied before now.
Basically sessions will work to your own level, but warm up, then stretches, some drills and finally some interval type training. Approx3km total distance. Hope this helps!

These Wednesday evening runs have been really good.
The all-abilities warm up followed by an interval session that is accessible to a variety of speeds and staminas works very well.
Looking forward to seeing some new faces over the next few weeks.

Training plan week of 27 May 2013
Wednesday 29th: Run - meet @ Whitehill Pool (for all abilities, warm up, drills and intervals, warm down)
Thursday 30th: Cycle - meet @ Whitehill Pool (c.30k loop)
