Fashion Show Tribute

On June 8, in Glasgow's Brigait, around 200 people including a star from the BBC's River City will be attending charity Neighbourhood Networks' fashion show: Angels and Aeroplanes. A year in the making bringing together professional artists (including Dennistoun-based Impact Arts), drama groups, students, community and culture organisations from across Scotland the show is a tribute to a former member of the charity and central figure of the organisation: Rosemary Boyle. Angels and Aeroplanes will commemorate the life of a much-loved woman who tragically lost her battle to cancer just over a year ago. Neighbourhood Networks aims to help adults with learning difficulties live more fulfilling and independent lives, enabling them to integrate better into society. They have several members from Dennistoun and the surrounding areas. Angels and Aeroplanes has given its members the opportunity to look and work towards something meaningful; whilst paying proper tribute to a well-liked, loved, but sadly lost friend.
