I'm with EE and my signal has been really rubbish lately too. If I go into the kitchen or my bedroom, which are at the back of my flat, I get no signal at all. I also live on Onslow Drive. Maybe one of the local transmittors is down.

Since reading this post I have realised that my signal has not been up to par recently (although not cutting off or anything) so tonight I phoned Orange and they have told me that there is a mast in my area which is undergoing essential maintenance and this should all be resolved by the end of the month but in the meantime they will credit my account with my monthly payment as a gesture in view of the reduced service I have been getting! Â So go for it guys!

I can't afford a month of 3 hour late texts and days old answerfone messages, that's why after 10 years I simply switched. Poor service from these giants should not be tolerated. Go for that!

Who did you switch to? Â I posted a thread earlier about Orange as having problems with them but good to know someone been told a mast is undergoing essential maintenance as we were told a mast had been switched off and we would need to leave orange!!

I switched to O2. Better phone, better bundles, double the texts and minutes for the same as I was paying from Orange. I've now had a call from the Orange Loyalty Dept. asking me why I've left. When I explained the guy said he'd check it out. He did, and said yup, Orange was switching off a mast covering this area and that even after 10 years he was unable to offer me any incentive for staying.
