Oh, I do hope so. Amore is great.

I hope its in line with the regeneration plans for this area.If planning permission is refused they could always open it up as an other bookies ,pawnshop or charity shop

I noticed Albertos I closed also, I've always liked the look of Amore but never been.

Amore does the best lasagne in Glasgow.

I really like Celinos lasagne (after my own of course) so this Amore place will need to be checked out very soon indeed.

Still think one of those Polish shops could open up on the parade(move the one from the Barras)

Amore is my favourite Italian in Glasgow. Great food at great prices - huge portions and very good service.
Its packed out even on a wet Tuesday afternoon.
Agree with anon above though. Probably not the kind of thing the planners would like to see in the regenerated Dennistoun. It's too popular and high-quality for us Dennistonians. I'm sure we'll end up with a pawnshop or something more appropriate for our area.

That's a little negative. Given that the premises are already zoned as a hot foot outlet there should be little issue with Amore taking over these premises if they are really interested.

I agree with Positive Thoughts -Dennistoun is a great place and although Alberto's was a good place to eat as a cafe, perhaps a "new" Amore would be great

Alberto's was never the same after it changed hands. Heard Amore is a great place.
Hopefully it will be something of quality. I don't care what just no more junk shops please.

No way near enough room for a restaurant - I think it would be too small

I miss my hangover full cooked breakfast and Coia's as much as it's great food, costs a fortune. :-(

Cafe 368 over from citypark is owned by the guys from albertos so you can get breakfast there except for Sunday's. Belting paninis as well

hi Ross you could get your hangover brekkie from Cafe Zuccini. It is owned by one of the boys who used to own Albertos. Its on Cumbernauld Rd next to the bowling green. It`s modern but with an old fashioned feel. It`s cheap also. I highly recommend it.

Any word on this chip shop re-opening?

There have been workmen putting in a new ventilation system round the back of Alberto's so it seems like there may be something new coming in its place but no indication what other than the obvious chippy.
