Major development

Hi, Can anyone give an update on the proposed development of the college business district next to Bellgrove station? Dawn developments applied for planning permission a few years ago to create a major development there. Will this still happen?

Lack of cash halted development. Would be better off landscaping for the local community rather than putting up an office block for it to lie empty.

Couldn't agree more. What an amazing place that would be for a community space. It would really break up that area which feels a bit concrete central. I know we do ok for parks in the general area but if you made it more of a wild garden (no jokes about locals please) with benches, a maze for the kids and maybe even some more allotment space. I'm probably getting carried away with the old wishful thinking here so let's chuck a fountain in while we're at it :)
