Dear all.
The next Everlasting Food Bank opening will be Saturday 1pm-4pm, at 12 Whitehill St (just opposite Tapa off duke st). Please can you let anyone who is in need of this service know. We now provide fresh bread and bags of emergency food for those who need it.
We would like to help as many people as possible.
Our building is the Everlasting Arms building and the food bank is in the hall connected to it.
You can follow on facebook and facebook.com/everlastingfoodbank
Thanks all
Craig

Hi,
Will you be accepting donations on Saturday also? Is there anything in particular which you are short of/need?

Hi, donations are welcome on Saturday. Just come to the same hall as the main church will be closed.
Of particular news right now are self contained meals (like a meal in a packet or tin), rice in either a box or bag and cereal.
Thank you in advance
Craig

Craig what is the qualifying criteria for anyone that is in need of your service ?
#9 - Craig replied on the 25/02/2014 9:39:00 PM
Hi John.
We don't have a criteria, it is more like if someone "needs" to come then we are accepting of that. We do ask people their circumstances and such like this. But we accept anyone who comes and says they are in need.

Hi Craig,
Just wondering if you could post a list of what food items would be best donated.
Thanks

At the moment our need is for:
- Baked beans
- Tinned fruit
- Dry rice or pasta
- Pasta sauce
- Cereal or porridge
If you are able to donate any of those items it would be fantastic. You can drop them in the main hall of the church wednesday 7.30pm - 9pm or sunday 9.30am-2.30pm or at the food bank. Otherwise I can arrange to collect any food donation just gimmie a call/text 07981122335
Thanks :)

Hi Craig,
Would it be possible to drop a donation off on Saturday morning before the foodbank opens?
Thank you

Hi Kat. Yes definitely. On Saturday our church doors open at 10am and you can give it to anyone inside the hall from that point on. Another option is to give me a text and I can meet you at the front of church when you come 07981122335
Thanks kindly,
Craig
