fridge freezer not working

Hi
My Fridge freezers not working, anyone recommend an electrician or someone that specialises in this type of work that can fix it.
I tried switching it off and leaving it for 24 hours its still not working, any advice would be appreciated ta,

Try switching it off and rock it back and forth for a couple of minutes, it may just be a air lock , sorry to ask this have you checked the fuse !! in the plug cheers Joe

Is it just a fridge ? or a freezer compartment within a fridge ? or a separate freezer of its own ? Waiting 24 hours and it still doesn't work is troubling , are you ok for food ?

in answer to your quesion it is a fridge?freezer, the freezer is in a separate compartment from the fridge, im ok for food thanx, i could do wae losing a few pound. Â Is the repair man in hillfoot street any good, anyone tried him, id much rather hve someone who deals in repairing fridges and fridge freezer. Â thanks
