Summer holidays

Hello all - to distract myself from the glum reality of January, I've been looking at booking a summer holiday.
As family of 4, we'll be going to mainland Spain in July for 2 weeks on a 3star all-inclusive basis, on a budget of around £2,500 (flying from a North of England airport).
Having spent the last few days trawling flight/accommodation websites, I'm just curious about how other Dennistoun families organise/pay for it.
Thoughts...?

jet 2 60pound deposit pay as much as you can afford at any time
