Police cones on Finlay Drive

Anyone have an inkling why there are police cones all along Finlay Drive this morning (Tuesday 14th)? Are parking restrictions going to be in place long?
Have a removal van coming on Friday!

Think it was to do with "footway patching". there are signs on the lamp posts to tell you what's happening.
