This sounds like it could be awesome. An ambitious new music project bringing a host of concerts, events and workshops to the east end. Going to be running from April to August seemingly. Programme is being announced this month i think but can sign up to a mailing list www.eastendsocial.com for updates.

Hi,
Thanks for the post and yes, we'll be rolling out various events around the east end over the course of this year. Â One of the key events we're planning is an all day/evening event on Duke Street (between Bellgrove and Millerston Streets) with live music performances across a host of venues.
We're working alongside Dennistoun Community Council who have been incredibly supportive and plan to include as many venues as possible from cafes, the library, Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre, churches etc.
Still in the planning stages but if people visited the website you kindly quoted above they can stay up to date with developments.
The East End Social is an official Culture 2014 event and is produced by the Bridgeton based record label Chemikal Underground.
Thanks again for your post.
