Charles Mackintosh Wellpark Factory?

Hi All,
I was on a Dennistoun walking tour in 2012 during Doors Open Day. Tour was brilliant! Am I right in thinking Mackintosh's original factory was here, and that he got his workers to all speak in Gaelic so that no one could steal his formula? Anyone know about a book/ an expert on Mackintosh?

Have a look at some of the Glasgow websites like Hidden Glasgow or Urban Glasgow. Â Loads of info on there about this subject.
