Electricians replacing mains
Pat posted on the 28/01/2014 6:34:25 AM
We had a letter through the door the other day telling us that an electrician will be replacing all the supply wiring in the close next week. We've been told that they need access to the property all day and there'll be no power. Before I phone them, does anyone know if they mean access to the close or to the actual flat? Don't fancy sitting in the house all day with no power...

Hi Pat,
we had the works undertaken recently and they required access to both the close and flat as they need to connect the new supply to the meter box.
Regards,
Rory

Yes it means access to the flat as well as the close. Â My electricity went off from approx 10-2pm.

I phoned them and they were very nice. Allowing me to arrange a specific time. I wish everyone who I had to talk to about my flat was so nice. It makes a difference...

I had this done before Christmas and need to contact them again as they said they had some further work to do but never got back in touch, but I can't for the life of me remember what the company were called, they just posted up a notice in the close which is now gone, they didn't put anything through the door. Can anyone help with the name?
Thanks
