Foodbank donations

Hi all,

If anyone wants to donate food for the next dennistoun food bank (1st march) it may be helpful to know we are most in need of donations of:

- Baked beans
- Tinned fruit
- Rice
- Pasta
- Cereal or porridge

These could either dropped at the everlasting arms hall, at 12 whitehill street (opp. tapa), sundays 10am-2.30pm or wednesdays 7.30pm to 9pm. You can also just email me craig.donaldson@strath.ac.uk and we can arrange for someone to meet you at church at almost anytime to collect donations.

Thanks, and keep an eye on the facebook page for updates facebook.com/everlastingfoodbank

To anon: At the moment food is a higher priority however we do have a small collection of some toiletries so any donations of those are also greatly appreciated.

The Mentalist: Yes we would gladly accept clothing. Are to able to drop these off Wednesday 7.30pm to 9pm or Sunday 10am to 2.30pm?

Thank you kindly to everyone, you are most generous

Fantastic work to everyone involved with these food banks up and down the country.

Can't believe we live in an age where so many people rely on them.

As for the politicians. Please do me one favour. Stop having your picture taken at one of these food banks whenever one opens up in your constituency. It really is nothing to be proud of. How they can stand there with a beaming smile knowing full well what it represents is beyond me.

I have bags of new and nearly new clothes that I hope someone could get use from.  Would you accept?
