Running network

The Glasgow Life Running Network in Dennistoun is no more - its moved further east. But some of us still meet unofficially, outside Whitehill Pool gates at 645pm on a Thursday. If you're interested and would like to run for about 45 mins through the East End/City Centre then just turn up on Thursday.

Hi
I'm wondering how good you have to be to run with the group? I went once to the running network about 2years ago and ended up running myself as I was second slowest so the leader ran with the person behind me but the others were really fast. Felt like I might as well have gone out myself. Looking for some motivation in the dark evenings so would like some company on a run.

Hi LoveToRun - If you've been to the running network before then you'll be fine with us I'm sure. We run for about 45 mins and usually stick together. If you can make it, we'll be meeting 6.45pm Thursday 6 March outside the Pool gates, at the top of the steps in Onslow Drive. Hope to see you there :-)

Thanks for your reply. I couldn't make it on Thursday but maybe this week. I'm only doing 5k at the moment and taking 30 minutes, so I'm pretty slow. Is there anyone about that pace going along?

5k is cool. weve got a good few routes that length.
