NextBike Glasgow

Hi everyone,

I was delighted to see Glasgow launch the NextBike hire scheme. Then, to my utter dismay, they haven't included any Dennistoun stops. This seems like a huge error of judgement. I think there should be stands at Hillfoot Street, The Parade and Bellgrove Station. I would use them all the time to pop into town.

Hopefully enough people will ask for Dennistoun and it will be extended.

Yes especially as the bus service is SO bad at night....no west to east straight through and a 20 minute wait in town for a 38 if you get the last bus from Woodlands Road. If there was a stand on the Parade it'd solve the problem

Hello all,

Such a shame it does not extend to Dennistoun. I am a member of the scheme and currently walk to Glasgow Green to hop onto a bike to get into town in the morning!

A little mad I know, but I am hoping if the scheme is successful that they will extend it to Dennistoun.

Slightly miffed at the usual westend bias....

I agree.  I have friends who use this and they say it's a great scheme.
