There's been loads of banging going on with the demolition of the high rises. They are doing loads of work during the night. Could it be that?

Not sure, sounded like it came from Duke St. Noticed some folk in flats peering down the road towards town from their windows.

Probably just a car backfiring to be fair.

I heard it again yesterday evening around 7 and then again in the night time it's very loud, definitely Duke St area! Sounds like a large gunshot. Anyone else hear it or any theory on what it is?

I live on Duke Street and heard two really loud bands last night too wonder what's going on. It's most definitely not a car that's for sure!

Heard it this morning too. It's not even fireworks, it's just horrendous bangs. Like a bomb. Everything shakes.

What end of Duke St is this happening at? I live just off it and I haven't heard anything or felt any shaking.

A lot of work is being carried out on improvements to the railway line between Bellgrove and Carntyne it could have been from there
