We've got it happening here as well. Millerston Street but this group are even younger. 8/9 years id guess. The police didn't really want to know but did pass my details onto victim support which I found hilarious.

We had this as well in Duke Street last week, boys and girls, would estimate about 10 years old...they managed to get in, I don't know if by force or someone buzzing then in, whilst one of them stayed at the front door on the intercom telling us 'we're in your close, we're going put a firebomb through your letterbox..'. I managed to get a photo of the backs of them when they went off down the street but its not the best.

Well these ones claimed they were waiting for their friends but I know for a fact they wouldn't have been because there's no children of that age in my close. Only much younger. I've watched these boys hang around over the last few years. A couple of years ago I caught them chucking stones at 2 girls with buggies going through the car park. They are just getting worse and worse. I would imagine its probably the same group in Duke Street. 4 of them, all very similar in height? When i caught them in the close they did do a runner but i'm sick to the back teeth of constant harassment from all ages.

Where would kids get the idea of putting a "firebomb through your letterbox"? Horrible situation. You've got feral children there unfortunately. Probably "Gangsters" kids.

yup there is a group of youngsters on duke st who cause problems. Those people seem to pick a target, harrase them for a few weeks and then move onto the next one.

If the problem gets worse approach the dennistoun community council. They have police representation at their meetings and the police seem to listen to people.

Its scary to think what kind of teenagers these children are going to end up like!

wow! quite a response i created!  it is worrying how little regard they have for their own .

good advice  from above  call police  better not to get involved.. i think that's  what they want

police hours in dennistoun are decided on how many reports of incidents are made in dennistoun, so as I've pointed out before REPORT every incident, they don't have to call to your house but if there are a number of reports about a problem they will prioritise it and deal with it.

It's all very well reporting them but what can you do about your factors who are less than cooperative. I've asked for the door to be replaced rather than them fixing it each time someone kicks it in and was told they'd only do it if there's a project to do the whole area...

annoying dennistoun kids are no new thing sadly. I deal with them on a weekly basis. It is surprising to me that parents let them go around in gangs and do not stop that happening even after they are getting visits from police etc. I see the same kids getting stopped by police time and time again yet they are not daunted by it

This might be a sweeping statement but their parents were probably just like them, and these children's children will be the same again.

You're probably right.
