Pregnancy or baby groups

Does anyone know of any groups for pregnant women or baby groups in Dennistoun? I'd like to meet some people in a similar situation however I've looked around but can't seem to find any in the area. Any help appreciated! Many thanks.

Hi Marianne,
I don't know of any pregnancy ones, you could try the NCT website and there will be something on offer at the Royal too so ask your midwife.
Once the baby comes there are a few local groups you can try out.
I've been to these ones:
Bounce & Rhyme at the library on a Monday at 10.30
Breastfeeding support group at the library after b&r
Reidvale Centre playgroup - Tues & Fri 10.30am - 12.30pm
Bookbugs at the Princes Mall every second Thursday at 10.15 & 11 am (details on their website)
These are others I'm aware of but haven't gone to:
Arts & Crafts class at Impact Arts which I think starts at 1.30 but I can't remember what days.
Playgroup at RAPA which I think is Wed & Thurs afternoons
There is a playgroup at the Salvation Army as well.
My boys are 2 & a half, and 9 months so I tend to go to things that suit the older one but I'll ask some parents of younger kids if there are other things on offer for babies rather than toddlers.
