Dennistoun food bank

Dear all
the everlasting food bank will be open this saturday from 1pm to 4pm at 12 whitehill st opposite tapa. Please, if you know of anyone who may need to use this service can you tell them about it.
I wanted to express a sincere thank you to the people of Dennistoun and this forum. This week marks our one year anniversary of opening. We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from local people and businesses. On behalf of everyone who volunteers at the food bank I thank you all.

thanks for your message. There is a facebook page which I run that has a lot info and checked regularly

If you check that page you can private message it too and arrange drop offs or check when we are open etc.
our church building is open 7.30pm-9.30pm wednesdays, 9.30am - 2.30pm sundays
We are also open this week tonight (friday) 7.30pm - 9pm for bag packing and saturday 10am to 4pm
Items of most need this month are: tinned soups, tinned meats, pasta sauce, UHT milk

Could you give us a little reminder of which foods you are looking for to be donated and if there is anything you are particularly short of?
Is there a facebook page for your food bank where we can get this info and updates of what you are in urgent need of?
Also, what days/times can donations be dropped off at the Church?
