There were Police cones all along Craigpark Drive this morning when I left for work. Anyone know what they are doing?

The clearing of the leaves is only partially done - are GCC going to pick up the big piles of leaves they've left in various places for the last week or so?

It is possibly linked to street cleaning: at Dennistoun Community Council (DCC) meeting last week, Land & Environmental Services responded to community feedback regarding the need for leaves and other detritus to be removed from gutters.

A work programme was put in place and a number of streets have already been cleared.

Cones are required as part of the notice suspending parking (this enables machines to access street edges and kerbs).
