Dennistoun Community Council Vacancies

Dennistoun Community Council (DCC) recently increased its membership and now has vacancies for 2 community councillors.
If you'd like to represent Dennistoun as a community councillor you have to be over 16, live within the DCC boundary, and complete a nomination form (with a proposer and a seconder who also live within the area).
Nomination forms can be downloaded atwww.dennistouncc.org.uk and must be returned by noon on Tuesday 6th January 2015 to Glasgow City Council or to a freepost address (details on the form).
If there are 2 or less valid nominations submitted applicants will be appointed at DCC’s next meeting on 13th January. If more than 2 nominations are received then election by secret ballot will take place (date and venue to be determined).
The Community Council would ideally be all inclusive across the wider Dennistoun area, but currently lacks representation from the Haghill and Wellpark areas.
