all-stars football match 1950s

Does anyone know where and in what year in the 1950,s an all-stars football match took place in the east-end? I think it may have taken place in Carntyne but I'm not sure---I was very young at the time. If anyone knows which 'stars' were playing and who the other team was, I'd be grateful for the information.
