Flogging? Are you mad? That'd not deter offenders ... but taking away their license would ... as for being blocked in, I never have but that's because I'm not part of the problem ...

Well said The Mentalist!! I'll vote for that !! Let's ban all cars from Dennistoun and make it a safer place for us all. By the way, what's wrong with a few hanging as well?

I have seen them about on their mopeds so keep your eye out folks.
Making them resit a test? - obviously been blocked in by an irresponsibly parked car before. I'd love to see you in the receiving end of that and see if you still think it's fair.
I'd like to see a higher patrol for the dog dirt offenders - brand new cream carpet fitted a week ago with a dogs dinner trialled across it last night.
Out of interest, how much is a parking ticket? (Bet I've just jinxed myself and I'll find out for myself)

"Anyone that has a car and pays their road tax and insurance should be allowed to park in any legitimate parking space, but anyone that parks on double yellow lines ON PURPOSE should not only be fined but in my opinion should also be made to resit the test for their driving licence."
Let's go the whole hog and have them flogged! If Dennistoun had a town square, we could do it there.

bit harsh id say, when I wasn't causing an obstruction! was just being nice to warn others as last night on my jog I counted 8 other cars doing the same. wont bother next time :)

About time that there was some parking enforcement - double yellows there for a reason. Emergency vehicles can't get round those corners if vehicles parked there.

They've definitely been upping their inspections recently, seen them out on Duke Street a few times checking the car parking tickets there.

I know, I normally get up early and move it! just very annoying when people that don't live or work there park in Armadale to get the bus to town, mainly outside the church which causes congestion onto main road. I wont be risking it again!

Unfortunately it's the chance you take on a double yellow.
