hi all,
does anyone know whats happened to the swans from the park? They've been here for years and now gone...

You may well be right about wholegrain...
I like swans and ducks, but not enough to give them my tasty wholegrain bread... :)

I don't want to be /that guy/, but you shouldn't really be feeding bread to swans (or ducks or seagulls etc.)
It's not great for them. Stale (or fresh) white (or brown) bread is pretty much nutritionally void for birds, and they don't digest it well. Feed them dried oats or veg and fruit peelings instead. :)

I was there last night and both swans were in the larger pond. Neither at all impressed with me as I forgot to bring any bread. Whoops.

We were at the park on Saturday and two of the swans were back.
But yes, I agree, the ponds do look in terrible states.

maybe they have left and went to a pond less polluted, both the ponds are in a terrible state
