After a long running battle with Transport Scotland I am pleased to say that the Sunday service Cumbernauld to Dalmuir train on Sunday's will now be stopping at Alexandra Parade station and Duke St station between the hours of 10am and 6pm as from Sunday 17th May 2015. Many thanks to anyone who helped by contacting them. Cheers, John.

Great Stuff,
I was just speaking to someone about this yesterday. I had mentioned the email I had sent must have gone into the junk folder. Really glad to see that the powers that be do listen sometimes.

That's great news to hear. After living in Dennistoun for the last 15 years or so, it's good to hear that we're finally being catered for with a Sunday service, instead of the shocking First Bus Service which has diminished over the years.
I cannot wait to make use of this service for the month or so that we're still living in the area before we move on.
I still feel the need to get my kicks in for the (put customer service not-)First company however...
It seems strange that after running the trains for years that First never created a Sunday service, but now that Abellio has taken over that we get a Sunday service quite quickly. Is it a coincidence? I'm not sure. But hopefully a sign of things to come from a better company for running the trains?

Great news! Just seen at Bellgrove that it's an hourly service from 9am to 7pm.
