TO ALERT ALL PROPERTY OWNERS IN DENNISTOUN THAT THERE IS CURRENTLY A SPATE OF THEFTS ONGOING FROM GARDENS AND OUTBUILDINGS IN The AREA. Unfortunately both my neighbour and myself have had garages and sheds forced open and tools , childrens cycles , lawnmowers and basically anyt hinhg made from metal or of easy disposable value taken . To such an extent that even some leadwork and the consequential structural damage incurred in its removal has occurred. This took place on Monday between nine am and six pm on Onslow dive and Whitehill st, if anyone noted anything untoward please contact the Police on 101 or at London road Police station . The advice presently is not to leave anything outside ( garden tools or childrens biscycles and toys ) and to secure outbuildings ; although I had both padlocks and hasps on my property . This is perhaps just a cathartic part of the process but please be aware!

I made a thread about this a few months ago when I caught two men in a white van trying to steal metal cloths poles from my back court, I quickly chased them off, seems like they have got more desperate now though.

They do that here too (Bridgeton). Caught a bunch of blokes stealing the clothesline poles once. You'll have a fight to get them replaced.
