Fire alarms

There always seems to be a problem with fire alarms going off in the middle of the night in the new build flats at Hillfoot Street and Finlay Drive. Is there a problem with the alarms in that they are always going off when there is no problem ?

One issue with these flats is people constantly smoking in the corridors and stair wells. you always see them smoking out windows. This may cause fire alarms to go off. Highly annoying
