Nursery on Craigpark

Passed the old nursery the other day next to the chapel on Craigpark and there is a steel structure going up in the grounds. Just wondering if anyone knows what they are constructing.

Thanks Malarki. Interesting design and strange Historic Scotland had no comment to make about it when they were consulted. Thought the council owned the property and can't work out how planning permission was given. Still it was lying doing nothing.

Council sold it via City Properties (arms length organisation) several years ago. The property is being renovated and is occupied.

Good to see something happening with this building. Glad it's not being split up or turned into some kind of bed sit

Could not agree more Der. Far too many nice old places being turned into HMO's which look grim and uncared for. The old nursery is starting to look smart - someone looks after the flowers at the front. It is will be good to see this house being restored. And the house being built at the rear of the old nursery, again thank goodness it is only one house as it could have been a block of ugly flats.

Hi there

I heard two families bought the property and are building a new house in the ground and the other will live in the old property!
