Red road flats

I heard a rumour today that the red road flats are being demolished this weekend (10th/11th October)?! Has anyone else heard anything? It will be an amazing sight to see.

All residents will be out between 8 & 10 ..
And then joiners etc go in and put wood on there doors and windows to protect them from any debris & dust etc

My friend who lives near the flats told me that everyone within the exclusion zone must leave their homes by 0800.She was told that events will begin around noon.

I've had a look on the website but I can't find anything. Rather strange since the significance of the event!

The demolition is Sunday . Residents are out there houses early and into a community hall for few hours
