records of fires in Dennistoun (Onslow Drive)

Does anyone know where I could find out details of historical fires in Onslow Drive.
In my daughter's flat we took off old wood panelling to find signs of a fire and possibly some major reconstruction on the rear of the block of flats.
The building seems sound enough and I'm just interested to know what happened.
The panelling has probably been up for more than 20 years.

I know there was a fire in a flat on the south side of Onslow Drive, very near the Whitehill Street end. It must have been well over 20 years ago. The occupant was an elderly man who was a music teacher. He was taken to hospital due to smoke inhalation and recovered I think. Can't remember what floor it was on but definitely not ground
