Denniston in New Zealand

There is a town in NZ called Dennistoun on the West Coast of the south island , it sits on a high plateau, and coal was mined for decades the coal was sent down on wagons on an incline to the railhead at the bottom , the wagons going down the incline pulled the wagons up to the top .

There is a book Denniston rose which depicts this era very well
