Does anyone know how I can get in touch with a woman called Irene Faber who lived in Onslow Drive in the mid 1960's? She 'd be in her 80's by now.

Thanks for the information Max. I did know that Irene's maiden name was Mills but I didn't know she's moved to Cambridgeshire----if that is indeed her. It does seem likely though, since Faber's not a very common name. Can you tell me what online site you got the information from? I have looked up electoral rolls in the past but I can't remember the route I took to get there---and I wasn't looking in England in any case. Thanks once again.

Hi jean I found their marriage certificate online and I can see that they were originally called Irene Mills. They married John Faber in 1961 in dennistoun. I found an address on the electoral roll which appears that both a John and Irene Faber seemed to live together at an address in March, Cambridgeshire (up until 2016). Bear in mind that this might be a different John and Irene Faber but there is no easy way to tell but I don't really have any other information than that. Sorry

Hi Jean. Sorry I've no idea what happened to Moira. I don't live in the area myself now and I have a suspicion that she moved away too. I don't know where I heard that. It's so long ago I don't remember.

Thanks for the info Jim. I don't remember the number but it was quite close to the secondary school I think. I don't suppose you have any way I could contact that sister? I know you said you haven't seen her for years but do you know of her whereabouts? I thought I might be able to contact Irene through her.

Hi Jean. I've just seen your post. Do you remember what number in Onslow Drive Irene lived at? I once visited my then girlfriend's sister called Irene. I can't remember her second name but I think it began with an F. Her sister's name was Moira Mills so her maiden name would have been Mills. I don't know how you can get in touch with either of them. I haven't seen Moira for years. She was a hairdresser in Uddingston though. Hope this helps.
