I know this doesn't sound like a Dennistoun post but it is related since I'm addressing anyone who attended Golfhill primary in the 1950's/1960's and who went on to attend Eastbank Academy in Shettleston, as I did, rather than Whitehill. I know there were a few kids whose families had moved to Easterhouse and were given the choice. My question is, was there a school library at Eastbank Academy in the early 1960's? I've no recollection of one but I could be wrong.
