Allotments

Just wondering if anyone here is involved with the allotments just off Craigpark? Lived here for years and always fancied getting one but the allotments always seem quite quiet when I walk past. Anyone got any info on how to acquire a plot?

Does this still function?
I have too much compost from my compost heap in onslow drive! And don't know what to do with it.
