Road Closures to Replace Timber Planters

Road closures are planned for Monday 25th July 2022 for three days to replace timber planters for concrete planters situated at primary schools in Dennistoun.

The timber planters were installed as part of Glasgow City Councils "Spaces for People" programme to create people-friendly streets in the area creating more space for physical distancing around Alexandra Parade Primary School and St Denis's Primary School, to minimise conflict between vehicles traveling in both directions and to reduce congestion at peak school arrival and departure times.

The streets closed are Armadale Street at Alexandra Parade Primary School and Meadowpark Street at St Denis's Primary School.
