The Glasgow Food Assembly is an online ordering forum of fresh produce that links shoppers directly with local producers and farmers. You buy online at your convenience and collection is at the Drygate each Monday evening from 5.30pm-7.30pm, so come along and meet the producers.
An added benefit of the Food Assembly over a regular farmers market is that there is no waste, as the producers only bring to the collection what has been ordered. If you value good, local, sustainably produced food then join the Food Assembly and have a look at what is available. You can register online with no commitment to buy, and browse the market each week.
